Anyone wishing to come to Confession, Please call to make an appointment.

2.   From The Metropolis: His Eminence has asked for three or four individuals, organizations, families or group of families from each parish to pledge
$ 500.00 a year for five years. The money is to be used for improvements for the Diakonia Center during the next five years. If anyone wishes to commit, please contact Fr. Dimitrios.

3.   Father's Request: Please search your memories and your "old" photos for good photographs of past priests that have served
Sts. Constantine & Helen from 1954 to the present.  The photos should be good close-ups (as possible) so they can be cropped and enlarged to 9x10. The parish would like to honor them by framing their photos and placing them in a special place in the parish hall.  It would also be helpful to have the dates of their tenure at Sts. Constantine & Helen. Thanking you in advance!  .

4.    Your 2010 Parish Council:
       Alex George
       Bogdan Strimbu
       Tommy Poulos
       Jenifer Walker
       Deanne Keltner
       Lisa Varytimidis
We wish them Godspeed in their sacred responsibilities for the parish.

5.  Did you know, that our church, Saints Constantine & Helen is now available on Facebook? And the site has over 100 friends, near and far! After extensive research, it appears our church is the first, in this area to have a site! What, you're not on Facebook yet? Why not go to www.facebook.com; register; and more importantly, become a "fan" of your church!

6.  Please remember Sts. Constantine & Helen Greek Orthodox Church when making or changing your will. You have supported the Church all these years, you can also support it in perpetuity.

7.  Our COOKBOOK SALES have really taken off!!! What a GREAT YEAR ROUND GIFT this book would make! In the event you haven't bought yours' contact any Parish Council Member!

8.  Year-Round Food Bank: We are continuing to build  our Food Bank through-out the year which can be distributed to those in need. Because of financial difficulties some families may be without food for their tables. Periodically the church receives calls from people in need of food or help in paying electric bills or even rent. We are a small parish and unfortunately don't have a discretionary fund to help with rent or other bills, but we can help with FOOD. As good Orthodox Christians it is our duty to help those in need. We can all help! It does not take much from each of us to pick up an extra can good or any type of "non-perishable" product and bring it to the church hall.

9.  Anyone wishing to add; correct; or even remove a name(s) for the Memorial; Prayer; or Celebrant List(s), PLEASE contact  Andrian Antis at StAntipas@aol.com or by mail: 107 Choctaw Drive, West Monroe LA 71291-7030
